The very best place to start managing your stress is by doing a quick evaluation. Once you understand what is causing your stress, you can better determine which ways to manage stress will work best for your situation.

1. Change – When things change, there is both bad stress and good stress. Bad stress in the since that we often find ourselves worrying or trying to solve problems we think may happen whenthe change takes place. Good stress from change can be thought of as affliction, struggle, or work required to obtain the desired change. For example, when you start a new job that requires you to gain new skills and knowledge, the bad stress can come in the form of stress dreams, anxiety, confusion, social pressure, and a number of other areas. The good stresses can include learning new concepts, struggling though a new assignment, or overcoming obstacles.
Once you determine the source of stress it is easier to find ways to manage stress.
